This Privacy Policy explains what information AutomationHead collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to automationhead.com and to the services we provide through it.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to reply to you and deliver our services.
- Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, company and anything you write in our contact form or send us directly.
- Information from working together. Project details, files and account access you share with us during an engagement.
- Technical information. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring URLs, collected automatically when you visit the site.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not collect government identifiers, health information or payment card numbers through this website.
How we use it
- Reply to your enquiries and provide the services you ask about.
- Send messages about a project, a quote or a scheduled call.
- Operate, secure and improve the website, including stopping spam and abuse.
- Meet our legal, tax and record keeping obligations.
Spam protection
Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from bots. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and sends it to Google for analysis. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Sharing
- Service providers. Companies that host the site, deliver our email or provide security, acting on our instructions and bound to protect the data.
- Legal requirements. When the law, a subpoena or other valid legal process requires it, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
- Business transfers. As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We never sell or rent personal information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 24 months. Client and project records are kept for the length of the engagement plus whatever period tax, accounting and legal rules require. After that we delete the information or make it anonymous.
Your choices
- Access, correction and deletion. Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it.
- Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any non-transactional email, or write to us.
- Cookies. Set your browser to refuse cookies. Some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
